Med omtrent 4500 gjenstander som er avdekket, st\u00e5r landet for mer enn halvparten av verdens funn i dette omr\u00e5det, if\u00f8lge Espen Finstad, medleder for det norske forskningsprosjekthemmelighetene til ICE.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sra_unit\"><link rel=\"stylesheet\" id=\"block-sra\" href=\"https:\/\/euroweeklynews.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/snack-related-articles\/dist\/css\/snack-related.min.css?230514-44157\" type=\"text\/css\" media=\"all\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Arkeologer bruker disse funnene for \u00e5 l\u00e6re om eldgamle handel og jaktruter som en gang krysset breene. I tusenvis av \u00e5r reiste folk over Norges isbreer for \u00e5 handle og jakte. Ruter som kobler kysten til innlandsomr\u00e5dene stammer fra steinalderen. &laquo;Noen av disse handelsrutene gikk over isen, noe som har bidratt til \u00e5 bevare hva folk etterlot seg,&raquo; sa Finstad til Business Insider.<\/p>\n<h2>Gamle hemmeligheter og gjenstander frosset i tide<\/h2>\n<p>I \u00e5rhundrer forble disse objektene frosne, men de siste ti\u00e5rene har stigende globale temperaturer f\u00e5tt isbreene til \u00e5 smelte, og avsl\u00f8rte hva som var gjemt inne. I l\u00f8pet av sommeren 2024 f\u00f8rte rask smelting til en b\u00f8lge av nye funn.<\/p>\n<p>Finstads team, som best\u00e5r av rundt syv arkeologer, utforsket nesten et dusin nettsteder. Blant deres mest bemerkelsesverdige funn var to av de best bevarte pilene de noen gang hadde sett. Den ene pilen l\u00e5 ganske enkelt p\u00e5 toppen av isen, helt intakt. Vanligvis er det n\u00f8dvendig med noen graving, men denne gangen plukket de den opp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDet er sjelden \u00e5 finne piler i s\u00e5 god stand. Det var som en gave, \u201dsa Finstad.<\/p>\n<p>Piler finnes ofte i isbreer fordi reinjakt var en viktig aktivitet i jernalderen og middelalderen. Folk jaktet ikke bare p\u00e5 egen mat, men ogs\u00e5 for \u00e5 selge kj\u00f8tt i markeder.<\/p>\n<p>Disse pilene gir innsikt i tidligere samfunn. Noen pilspisser ble laget av elvemuslinger som kom fra fjerne steder, og viste hvor langt folk reiste og handlet.<\/p>\n<p>Noen forhistoriske piler oppdaget i 2024 var s\u00e5 godt bevart at de fremdeles hadde fletching, de delikate fj\u00e6rene som ble brukt til stabilisering.
